Broadway hit Hamilton Musical to debut in Chicago at PrivateBank Theatre in September 2016

Blockbuster Hamilton Musical will hit Chicago for an extended run at PrivateBank Theatre in September 2016. With music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the Hamilton Musical made box office sales and received positive reviews from the audience. Hamilton Musical opened its Off-Broadway production at The Public Theater in February 2015 and the Broadway production at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in August, 2015. Now the Hamilton Musical is ready to launch a separate sit-down production at the PrivateBank Theatre of Chicago on September 27, 2016.

The Off-Broadway production of Hamilton Musical was nominated for 14 Drama Desk Awards and won eight awards including Outstanding Musical, New York Drama Critics’ Circle Awards for Best Musical and three Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical. The Broadway production of Hamilton Musical’s original cast recording is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

PrivateBank Theatre currently known as Bank of America Theatre opened in 1906 which is located at 18 W Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60603, United States. The 1906 seat theatre hosted Broadway productions like Wicked, The Lion King, The Book of Mormon and Jersey Boys. Hamilton Musical will also make a successful stay with box office sales.
